Celebrating Ontario’s outstanding college graduates

Ontario celebrated the announcement of the recipients of this year’s Premier’s Awards for outstanding college graduates at the annual awards gala on Nov. 26 in Toronto. There were eight recipients this year in the following categories:

  • Apprenticeship – Don Gosen, from Conestoga College.
  • Business – Neil Hetherington, from Seneca College.
  • Community Services (a tie) – Colleen Hele-Cardinal, from Sault College, and Elder Little Brown Bear/Ernest Matton, from Canadore College.
  • Creative Arts and Design – Helen Lebeau, from Sheridan College.
  • Health Sciences – Allan Cole, from Humber College.
  • Recent Graduate – Allie Libertini, from Conestoga College.
  • Technology – Jad Saliba, from Mohawk College.

A total of 118 alumni were nominated for the 2018 Premier’s Awards. Congratulations to all of the nominees and recipients.
