Deputy Chief, Essex Windsor EMS
Justin Lammers, the deputy chief of professional standards at Essex-Windsor EMS, knows what it means to be on the front lines of health care. Under his leadership, paramedics are providing proactive, community-centric care that seeks to respond to crisis and prevent it from taking place. Through initiatives like the vulnerable patient navigator, defibrillator mapping and electronic patient control record, Lammers is setting a new standard for paramedicine. His connected, compassion-driven model of care seeks to arm his paramedics with highly efficient tools, empower bystanders into action and advocate for the vulnerable — all with one ultimate goal in mind: to save lives.
