Josée Séguin is a 28-year-old personal support worker and decorated Special Olympics athlete. Through her professional and athletic careers, she inspires young, aspiring athletes to set ambitious goals and work hard to achieve them. She is a gifted caregiver and athlete who shows her abilities in all that she does, rather than her disabilities, which include cerebral palsy, epilepsy and vision impairments. She graduated from college with honours, despite being discouraged from pursuing post-secondary education. By believing in herself, she has proven that anything is possible, including winning three gold medals and a silver medal at the World Games.
