Windsor Operations Site Manager, Ford Motor Company
Under site manager Tony Savoni, production of Ford Motor Company vehicles continues to grow at a local engine plant. He has been with Ford Motor Company since 1987. Savoni oversees day-to-day operations at itslocal facilities. The Essex engine plant employs approximately 820 workers and the Windsor engine plant has approximately 1,500 workers on its 39-acre site. Savoni is now supervising a $613-million investment in Ford of Canada for a new seven-litre, V8 truck engine, called the 7X; this new V8 engine will be in the Ford’s F-series trucks.
