Since graduating from his civil engineering technology program in 1995, Greg Miller has spent two decades working in municipal engineering. He is also a dedicated volunteer, acting as vice-president of the Institute of Engineering Technology of Ontario, and now as president of the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT). As president of OACETT, Miller has been leading the 25,000-member association’s efforts to modernize the sector, which includes increasing female representation. He has represented Ontario’s interests in China and Vietnam and participated in the Elliot Lake Commission, which resulted in safety, emergency response and training recommendations in the sector.
