Premier’s Awards for
Outstanding Colleges Graduates


The 2011 Premier's Awards was held Nov. 28 at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel as part of the Higher Education Summit.

More than 830 people attended the gala celebration, which included a special tribute to the Honourable William G. Davis, the founder of Ontario’s college system. Award winners this year included Algonquin College graduate Jon Cassar, the producer and director of the TV show, 24, and Humber College graduate Rahul Singh, the founder of GlobalMedic, which has donated more than $10 million worth of relief items around the world.

The Premier’s Awards are presented annually in six categories: Business, Creative Arts and Design, Community Services, Health Sciences, Technology and Recent Graduate. The 2012 Premier’s Awards gala will be held Nov. 27 at the Sheraton hotel.
